Jewelled Vintage Clutch {DIY}

I have been owning this simple vintage black silk clutch for as long as I can remember. I think I bought it at a flea market in Manhattan, New York when I just arrived  about 17 years a go.

But when I saw a page from a magazine showing jeweled clutches recently; I immediately thought about dressing up the clutch to a similar style. For a long time I did not know what to put on the simple black clutch until I saw a seller selling the most amazing varieties sizes and colors of vintage glass beads on Ebay.

Now the clutch is fun, elegant and rich looking clutch to wear to any party at any time. I love how it looks with the colorful vintage beaded glass on. It is like a real ruby, emerald, saphhire, amber, turqoise and opal decorated this simple clutch.

You can see how I attached the beads on this video {here}
