Pretty Jewelry Tissue Paper Gift Wrap {DIY}

This is a fun  way of using only tissue papers to wrap jewelries like  a ring, brooch, bracelet or even necklace. Unlike the traditional boxed and wrapped jewelry gift; this jewelry only wrap by tissue papers.

It is pretty and easy to do and you can embellish it with anything that I am sure you can have them handy around your home.

The embellishment does not have to come from a store. You can make your own tag or label with your own hand writing and stick it to the body of the package and tie it with a ribbon. Just use your own imagination and the sky is the limit.

I included a tutorial although this jewelry packaging is very easy to do {here}.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
 I hope you like the Jewelry Tissue Paper Gift Wrap I created.

Pretty Jewelry Tissue Gift Wrap {Tutorial}

What you need;
~  Variety colors of tissue papers
~ Scissor
~ Glue
~ Embellishment like, vintage trimmings, lace, ribbon, tags, anything small to decorate
the package.
Fake silk flowers. Cut and use only 1 or 2 stems of flowers from  one big bouquet.
~ Clear tape or washi tape

1. Take 3 pieces of tissue papers and cut in half. The scallop edge will be the top part.
2. Fold in 3 or 4 times.
3. Fold the very bottom part upward about 1/2" and tape it.
And tape the vertical edge tissue paper to form a package. Do not tape it all the way up.
4. Wrap the jewelry in tissue paper and put it inside the tissue paper package.

Note; the flower can be anything from fake silk flower or here I am using a vintage millinery flower on the picture.

Seductive Black & White Gold Accent {Inspiration Board}

There is something alluring and seductive about black and white color combination especially in photograph. Sometime we do not need much color to see beauty. This board represent the elegance of black and white.  Then I added a touch of gold to accent and brighten the black and white theme a little.

Perhaps by now you already know that I really love creating inspiration or mood board. It reminded me so much when I was a student at Fashion Institute of Technology New York. Right now I am dreaming of having my own work space/studio/home office. I am imagining that I will have a group of mood boards like this one on the wall right on top of my desk. I will also have a sewing station, and in the corner where I can paint all in one room just for me. Tonight Steven already said; once we moved into our new home and you are having your own working room I will have to drag you out of the house!" It's true; I love working on a craft project without anyone disturbing me at home. I need your prayer so that this house selling is going smoothly. So far is going on a full swing but it is in the process and anything can happen a long the way.

I got those gold brass decorative pieces from a Brimfield flea market up in Massachusettes. I created a wall art out these pieces a while a go and I really love it. {here}

This is another flower crown that I created out of a vintage millinery flowers I got from Ebay.  Sometimes I created too many things that I do not know what to do with them. What do you do with craft project that you created and after posted them in your blog?

Thank you so much for reading!

I Favorite Friday

I picked these adorable items; home decor idea, diy and art randomly as I browse around the cybernet hoping that these would inspire you all. They inspired me so I thought I share them with you.

These round boxes are so adorable. I love the pattern that she chose to cover these boxes. Pretty as a display and in a group.

What I like about this dresser is that there are three colors on it. And I love that the top part is still on the original color or natural dark brown wood color.

This room is so lively and cheerful. Love the Louis chair with bright bold color. I am thinking to do this with my old Louis chairs that has been sitting in the storage for many years some day.

 How adorable this little Japanese doll is? You can purchase this cute doll at Etsy {link below}.

There is something about this art that I am so much in love with. I do not know why. I just love water color.

I love this settee so much. Traditional piece mixed with beautiful geometric pattern fabric is always a perfect, elegant modern mix. Especially decorated  with  three clean looking modern art on the top like these. Don't you think?

Roses Under A Veil

"Destiny itself is like a wonderful wide tapestry in which every thread is guided by an unspeakably tender hand, placed beside another thread, and held and carried by a hundred others."

~Rainer Maria Rilke~

"We must embrace struggle. Every living thing conforms to it. Everything in nature grows and struggles in its own way, establishing its own identity, insisting on it at all cost, against all resistance."

~Rainer Maria Rilke~

"How could we be capable of forgetting the old myths that stand at the threshold of all mankind, myths of dragons transforming themselves at the last moment into princesses. Perhaps all dragons in our lives are really princesses just waiting to see us just once being beautiful and courageous."

~Rainer Maria Rilke~

"Reflect on the world that you carry within yourself. And name this thinking what you wish.....Your innermost happening is worth all your love."

~Rainer Maria Rilke~

"If you stay close to nature, to its simplicity, to the small things hardly noticeable, those things can unexpectedly become great and immeasurable."

~Rainer Maria Rilke~

"There is much beauty here because there is much beauty everywhere."

~Rainer Maria Rilke~

Home Made Geometric Print and Tulle Bow Gift Wrap {DIY}

As I went through my fabric scraps I found tulle pieces from making a tulle ballerina skirt a while a go. {here} Then I thought it would be nice to make a ribbon out of these tulle fabrics. I also love stamping; immediately stamping a print on a paper for a gift wrap came into mind.

I have all the materials in hand and  not knowing how they are going to turn out; I gave it a try. I really love them only the prints was not as clear as I wanted to be because I am using tissue paper and it is shiny that does not hold paint very well. More less I really like them.

Tutorial; here.

Geometric And Tulle Ribbon Gift Wrap {TUTORIAL}

What you need:

1. Cut the eraser to a small square piece than draw your geometric image. Using Xacto  knife carve around the shape (2.)
3. You can make as many shape as you want. Mine is a plus shape and  a triangular shape.
4. Take a small amount of paint than brush onto your pallete paint with a single stroke. {You may not want to apply it a lot as it will be a blob pattern on the paper as you stamp it.}

1. Slowly stamp it on to the gift wrap paper. Mine is tissue paper. My print did not come out as clear because tissue paper is shiny so you want something that  porous.  Just be extra careful because the paint on the eraser tent to ran out very fast. It is only good about 2 or 3 stamps. Let it dry.
2. Meantime cut the flower from the plastic stem  and spray paint them. The paint does not have to be covered on the flower. You might see that it will only spray on the front part of the flower as the paint does not go deeper into amongst petals. But you can double or triple spray paint them. I did not.

Cut a wide tulle and long enough to make a big bow. The bow will be pretty if the width is little wider. Then when the paper is dry; wrap your gift box and tie with the tulle. And glue gun the flowers as a cluster in the middle of the bow. And it's done!

Thank you!
